Gainford House is a "Good" Rated CQC Service we work with adults with Learning Disabilities and or Autism within a Service, we also work with customers in the community delivering a domiciliary care model.
Typical day
Assist customers with their daily living tasks developing their independence, achieve their goals aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans
Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services
Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments
Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews
Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

You have
A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this
Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail
Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally
Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach
A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs, recognising that every customer is different
To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Were looking for you to work atGainford House Service (People with Learning Disabilities and or Autism within a Service, we also work with customers in the community delivering a domiciliary care model).
Using technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
