The role: The postholder will coordinate the administration and operational delivery of events, weddings, filming and venue hire activity, ensuring an exceptional client experience from initial enquiry through to post-event review. You will also provide administrative support to the Schools historic tours operation, working alongside the Tours Administrator when required. The estate at Harrow offers a range of historic buildings, modern facilities and outside spaces, so it is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to work within a broad repertoire of personal, corporate, charity and sporting events.
The skills: This role will suit a candidate who prides themselves on their experience and ability to manage the administrative details of an events management process from start to finish; dealing with the enquiry, planning and delivery of the event as well as the financial payments/invoicing and associated reports. You will be highly organised, with strong verbal and written communication styles that reflect the organisations brand and client expectations. Your good numerical ability and confidence with MS Office applications will enable you to accurately record client and financial information. Using your positive, approachable, professional demeanour and flexibility to support the team at busy times, you will build excellent relationships with colleagues and provide a customer service that supports and strengthens the reputation of Harrow School as one of the best venue providers in London.

The environment: Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 835 boys study at Harrow and live in the Schools 12 boarding houses. Harrow School Enterprises Limited (HSEL) is the trading company of Harrow School. It is responsible for raising additional funds for the School through commercial activities such as events, filming, tours, weddings, educational courses, residential tenant groups and sports facilities hire. HSEL is also the head office for Harrow School Short Courses (HSSC), which is one of the leading providers of summer language courses for international students aged 8-17 years.
