An established independent garage in Harrow is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its team. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring a capable technician who can confidently diagnose faults and complete servicing, repairs and rectification work across a wide range of makes and models.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Carrying out mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Rectifying identified faults accurately and efficiently
- Using diagnostic equipment to investigate vehicle issues
- Completing vehicle inspections and identifying additional work
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
Requirements
- A minimum of four years experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Confident completing servicing, repairs and rectification work
- Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Your own tools
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred
