Conveyancer Harrogate £40,000 CLD Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing law firm in Harrogate who are looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their friendly and expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer who is looking for a long-term career with a reputable firm where they will have the autonomy to manage their own caseload, whilst benefiting from dedicated administrative support.
The Role Working within the Residential Conveyancing team, you will manage a full and varied caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
Residential sales and purchases
Freehold and leasehold transactions
Remortgages
Transfers of equity
Shared equity
Staircasing
Managing files from inception through to completion
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professionals
Working to deadlines and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
Providing excellent levels of client service
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required
You will have the benefit of dedicated 1-1 support from a Conveyancing Assistant, allowing you to focus on your caseload and client relationships.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience working within a Residential Conveyancing role
A proven track record of managing a full caseload of approximately 60100 files
Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish
Experience dealing with both freehold and leasehold matters
Excellent client care and communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Strong IT skills and experience using case management systems
Experience with Proclaim, Redbrick, Quill or similar systems would be advantageous
The ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
A willingness to support, train and develop junior members of staff
A full clean driving licence would be advantageous
Ideally, you will live within a commutable distance of Harrogate
