Salary: Up to £55,000 Shift: Days Job Role of the Refrigeration Engineer A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a skilled Refrigeration Engineer has come to the forefront.

Working in a days-based role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime across the site.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on refrigeration plant and associated equipment, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site performance.

Sector – Industrial Refrigeration / Building Services Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Refrigeration Engineer F-Gas Category 1 certification.

Refrigeration maintenance experience within a commercial or industrial environment.

Hands-on experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.

Requirements for the Refrigeration Engineer Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on refrigeration systems.

Recognised Refrigeration or Air Conditioning qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

Experience maintaining refrigeration plant, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated equipment.

Desirable Requirements for the Refrigeration Engineer Experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer in the UK.

Experience with ammonia, CO2, or other industrial refrigeration systems.

Electrical fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
