I'm recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading specialist healthcare providers, delivering life-changing cancer treatment directly in patients' homes across the West Midlands. This is an opportunity to step away from the pace of a busy ward and spend meaningful, uninterrupted time with your patients. You'll manage your own caseload, build lasting relationships and deliver specialist oncology and haematology treatments in the environment where patients often feel most comfortable: their own home.

  • Salary up to £44,500
  • Company car or £4,887.50 car allowance
  • Monday-Friday working pattern
  • No nights, weekends or bank holidays
  • NMC registration paid
  • Private medical insurance (following qualifying period)
  • Pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Structured induction and ongoing clinical development
  • Excellent clinical support and governance

The Role

As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll manage your own caseload across the West Midlands, delivering safe, high-quality treatment while providing an exceptional patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and chemotherapy treatments within patients' homes
  • Administering oncology and haematology treatments safely and in line with national guidelines
  • Completing holistic clinical assessments before every treatment
  • Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management
  • Monitoring patients throughout treatment and responding appropriately to any adverse reactions
  • Maintaining accurate electronic patient records and documentation
  • Providing education, reassurance and ongoing support to patients and their families
  • Working collaboratively with hospitals, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care

About You

You'll be a confident, compassionate clinician who enjoys working autonomously while putting patient care at the heart of everything you do. You'll have:

  • Active NMC registration (Adult Nurse/RGN)
  • Experience delivering chemotherapy or SACT treatments
  • Competency in the administration of cytotoxic drugs
  • Strong cannulation and venous access skills
  • Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
  • A full UK driving licence

Why Join?

Community chemotherapy is one of the few nursing roles where you can combine specialist clinical practice with the time to deliver truly personalised care. You'll have the freedom to organise your own day, the opportunity to build genuine relationships with your patients and the support of an experienced clinical team that's committed to delivering outstanding cancer care.

If you're an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse, Community Chemotherapy Nurse, Oncology Nurse, SACT Nurse or Haematology Nurse, I'd love to tell you more. Apply today or contact Sam at Leaders in Care on 07828 876725 for a confidential conversation.
