We are seeking an experienced Aggregates Production Manager to join an established and growing building materials manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for multiple production sites, leading operational performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and customer service.

You will oversee the safe, efficient and profitable operation of four production sites across Kent and Sussex. Leading a small team across different sites, you will play a key role in developing site teams, improving productivity and delivering operational excellence across the region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational performance of four production sites across Kent and Sussex
  • Drive health & safety, quality, environmental and operational standards across all locations
  • Manage site budgets, maintenance planning and operational expenditure
  • Coach, mentor and support Site Supervisors and their teams to maximise performance
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor operational performance and deliver improvements against KPIs
  • Build strong working relationships with internal departments and customers
  • Ensure each site consistently delivers high standards of production, service and compliance

What you need to apply:

  • Experience in a Production Manager, Aggregates Production Manager, Operations Manager or multi-site manufacturing leadership role
  • Experience managing multiple manufacturing or production sites
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Experience driving health & safety, quality and operational performance within a manufacturing environment
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to lead change across multiple sites
