Lynx Employment Services are recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team maintaining parks, green spaces and public areas across the Wyre Forest district.

## The Role
Working as part of the Grounds Maintenance team, you'll help maintain parks, open spaces, sports pitches and landscaped areas to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
Strimming and edging
Hedge cutting and pruning
Weeding and planting
Litter picking and emptying bins
Assisting with sports pitch marking
Carrying out site inspections
Completing daily vehicle, machinery and equipment safety checks
Recording completed work using manual or electronic systems
Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures
## Working Hours
37 hours per week Monday to Friday 7:00am 3:00pm Occasional weekend working may be required ## What We're Looking For
Essential:
Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticultural experience Experience using strimmers and pedestrian mowers Full UK Driving Licence Good understanding of Health & Safety Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather Reliable with a positive attitude and able to work well within a team Desirable:
Experience operating ride-on mowers NVQ in Amenity Horticulture or a similar land-based qualification ## What You'll Receive
