We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated team at Fairways our residential care home in Grimsby - If you're passionate about food, enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference to peoples lives day to day - we would love to hear from you!

The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role.

You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

Pay & Hours: £13.70 per hour Casual Shift pattern - working to a rota to be discussed at interview - some weekend work available.

The

Role: You will prepare and serve food and drinks to our Service Users.

Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.

Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users.

Keeping cleaning products safely stored as well as ordering cleaning products for the kitchen.

Using a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during meal times.

About you: Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ Basic Food Hygiene qualification.

Previous experience of working in a Kitchen environment.

Excellent knowledge of individual dietary needs.

A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.

Good communication and organisational skills.
