We are working with a well-established professional services organisation that is looking for an IT Business Process Automation Developer to support its ongoing investment in automation and digital improvement. This is a hands-on role focused on creating smarter workflows, improving business processes and helping teams work more efficiently.
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to review existing processes, capture requirements and deliver practical workflow solutions. You will be involved across the full lifecycle, from design and build through to testing, deployment, documentation and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain workflows across key business systems.
Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Analyse data flows and identify improvement opportunities.
Build solutions using Power Automate, Logic Apps or similar tools.
Integrate applications using APIs, connectors and web services.
Manage workflow delivery from requirements through to support.
Follow change, release, security and compliance processes.
Troubleshoot workflow issues and maintain clear documentation.
Work with users, IT teams and suppliers to deliver effective solutions.
Experience Needed
Experience in workflow development, automation or systems integration.
Strong knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
Good understanding of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams and Outlook.
Ability to analyse processes and turn requirements into practical solutions.
Experience with SQL, data mapping, reporting or data transformation.
Knowledge of testing, release management and deployment processes.
Scripting or development experience, such as PowerShell, JSON, JavaScript or C#, would be useful.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Organised, detail-focused and proactive in learning new technologies.
