We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Cylinder Driver to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver looking for a stable, customer-facing role with an excellent work-life balance.
Working a 40-hour week, you'll never be expected to work later than 5:00pm, as the site closes at that time.
The RoleAs a Class 2 Cylinder Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of gas cylinders to a variety of commercial customers, including pubs, fabrication companies, welders, and other businesses. You'll be delivering a wide range of gases, from Propane and Argon to many other industrial gases, completing multi-drop deliveries throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Pick and deliver gas cylinders safely and efficiently.
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.
- Deliver a variety of industrial gases, including Propane, Argon, and other cylinder gases.
- Check emails and plan your daily workload at the start of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.
- Comply with all transport and ADR regulations, as well as health & safety procedures.
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid ADR with Class 2 and Class 5 qualifications.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- At least 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
- Basic IT skills, including the ability to check emails and manage daily work.
- A good level of physical fitness. While lifting aids are provided on site to minimise manual handling, you'll need to be comfortable manoeuvring gas cylinders as part of the role.
- A reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused approach.
