BlueSky is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning opportunities into long-term customers. It's an exciting time to join us. BlueSky is an established Grimsby-based packaging specialist and, since June 2026, part of Berlin Packaging EMEA – combining the responsive, entrepreneurial approach that has made BlueSky successful with the scale, product range and international reach of a global packaging leader. We're growing, and we need a Business Development Executive who can help us win the next generation of BlueSky customers.

We Offer:

  • £35,000–£40,000 salary, depending on experience

The Business Development Executive Role:

This is a genuine new-business sales role. Working alongside our experienced sales team, you'll take ownership of developing prospects and converting them into profitable, long-term customers.

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Identifying and approaching new prospective customers
  • Following up and skilfully qualifying inbound and marketing-generated opportunities, in line with defined criteria
  • Proactive prospecting, including outbound calling
  • Building relationships with decision-makers and understanding their commercial needs
  • Developing opportunities from first conversation through to new customer
  • Re-engaging lapsed customers where there is potential to grow revenue
  • Managing your pipeline as well as inputting and maintaining an accurate CRM
  • Delivering against clear activity and new-business revenue targets
  • Completing relevant sales administration tasks

About You:

We're more interested in attitude, ability and potential than finding someone with a perfect CV. Packaging experience is useful, but it isn't essential.
