With significant investment transforming our site into one of the most advanced dairy facilities in the UK, we're now expanding our engineering team and looking for Engineering Technicians to play a key role in supporting a highly automated, next-generation production environment. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of modern manufacturing - combining cutting-edge technology, large-scale automation and ongoing site transformation.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability
- Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environment
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades
- Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performance
- Supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment
What you'll be working with:
- Highly automated process and filling lines with advanced PLC systems
- High-speed blow moulding and hygienic filling technology
- Multi-axis robotic packaging systems
- One of the UK's largest pallet cooling and transport systems
- Site-wide infrastructure including: Combined Heat & Power (CHP)
- Advanced compressed air systems
- Sustainability and recycling technologies
What we're looking for:
- A time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance
- Experience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable)
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- A team player committed to high safety and performance standards

- £57,289 salary plus 1.5x overtime
- £5,000 sign-on bonus (paid after successful completion of probation)
