Experienced and professional Electrical Tester required to work with a leading and highly reputable nationwide maintenance contractor. My client is looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to carry out electrical testing and minor remedial works on domestic properties across the Great Yarmouth area.
Location: Great Yarmouth
Pay: £70 per test (Paid via CIS)
Hours: Complete 45 properties per day
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
- Carry out EICRs within occupied social housing properties
- Replace smoke alarms where required
- Complete minor electrical repairs including changing plug sockets
- Accurately complete all testing certificates and documentation
- Work efficiently to complete 45 properties per day
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with current electrical regulations and Health & Safety requirements
- Larger remedial works will be completed by a separate team
Requirements:
- Must hold 18th Edition qualification
- Must hold City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification)
- Must hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- Must have experience working within a social housing environment
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Must have own van, tools and calibrated electrical tester
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
