Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to step into a leadership role? We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance operations at our state-of-the-art critical site. Operating on a desirable Monday to Friday (07:00 to 15:00) schedule, this role offers the perfect balance of engineering leadership and excellent work-life balance, with additional earning potential through overtime.

Your Role

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a skilled team of 4 maintenance engineers.
  • Planned Maintenance: Execute and oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works.
  • Site Compliance: Maintain the highest safety and operational standards across all critical infrastructure.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rota (noting that actual site call-outs are historically minimal).

What We Are Looking For

  • Electrical Bias: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, plus 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • Critical Environments: Proven experience working in critical environments (e.g., data centres, banks, hospitals, or major commercial hubs).
  • Leadership Skills: Experience supervising engineers, assigning workloads, or a strong desire to step up into management.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure within a critical environment.
