£30,000 - £33,000 + Company Van + Benefits

We're recruiting a Service Technician to join a growing, well-established business that installs and maintains children's rides in leading retail environments across the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic electrical or mechanical skills looking for a stable, long-term role with autonomy and early finishes.

About the Company

Ride On Entertainment is a well-established UK business specialising in children's rides within shopping centres and retail environments. With over 20 years of experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering safe, high-quality entertainment and maintaining excellent client relationships across multiple sites.

The Role

You will maintain and service children's rides across multiple retail locations, ensuring they are clean, safe, and fully operational. Key duties include:

  • Cleaning and presenting rides to a high standard
  • Carrying out basic electrical repairs and fault finding
  • Installing and relocating equipment within retail sites
  • Visiting 3-4 locations per day
  • Loading and unloading equipment from the company van
  • Representing the business professionally on-site

Working Hours

Start between 5am - 6am (depending on route). Finish typically 2pm - 3pm. 40-hour week. Occasional weekend work (paid extra with time off in lieu).

What We're Looking For

  • Basic electrical or mechanical repair experience
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Able to carry out a role that involves regular lifting and movement of equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
