Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver to join A ausy warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and storage of goods within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
Load and unload vehicles and deliveries.
Move and position pallets and stock throughout the warehouse.
Store goods safely and accurately in designated locations.
Pick and prepare stock for dispatch when required.
Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any faults.
Follow all warehouse, health and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and delivery teams.
Ensure all goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Other Warehouse Duties
Essential Requirements Valid and recognised Counterbalance Forklift Licence .
Valid and recognised Reach Truck Licence .
Previous experience operating both counterbalance and reach trucks.
Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good spoken and written English is essential to understand instructions, complete warehouse documentation, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Desirable Previous experience in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience using warehouse management systems or scanners.
Experience loading and unloading HGVs.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
