Are you looking to start a rewarding career in dentistry? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly private dental practice in Meopham, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while working alongside an experienced and supportive dental team. Whether you have recently enrolled on a Dental Nursing course or are planning to begin your training, we would love to hear from you.

About the Practice: We are a modern, well-established private dental practice providing high-quality patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team delivers a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign, hygiene therapy, restorative dentistry and preventative care, giving trainee nurses excellent exposure across multiple areas of dentistry.

The Role: As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will support clinicians during a variety of dental procedures while developing the practical skills and knowledge required for a successful career in dental nursing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting dentists during patient treatment
  • Preparing and maintaining clinical treatment rooms
  • Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments
  • Following infection prevention and health and safety procedures
  • Supporting patients throughout their appointments
  • Updating patient records accurately
  • Working closely with the wider practice team
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development

What We're Looking For: The successful candidate will be:

  • Friendly, professional and reliable
  • Eager to build a long-term career in dentistry
  • Organised with good communication skills
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems
  • Enrolled on, or intending to enrol on, a GDC-approved Dental Nursing qualification
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Vaccinated against Hepatitis B or willing to begin the vaccination programme. First dose required.
