People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our well-established client based in Grangemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy manufacturing and distribution business specialising in the supply of pipes and pipe fittings.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, FLT Driver or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 - 15:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move stock safely
  • Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Booking goods in and checking deliveries against paperwork
  • Storing pipes, pipe fittings and associated products within the warehouse
  • Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Assisting with general warehouse and stores duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Essential Skills:

  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse or stores environment
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment would be advantageous but is not essential

Training: Full site training provided. Ongoing support throughout your assignment.
