Role Residential Support Worker
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: £26,436
Additional pay: £4,160 per annum, based on 2 sleep-ins
Potential earnings: £30,596.00 per annum

What you will be doing
Provide emotional support and positive behaviour management tailored to each persons individual needs.
Support children and young people with daily living activities, promoting independence and confidence.
Assist with meal preparation and mealtimes, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
Plan and facilitate engaging activities that encourage social development, life skills, and positive experiences.
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment.
Record care activities, incidents, and progress notes accurately in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support the people we support to attend appointments, education settings, and community activities, while ensuring their safety, well-being, and supervision always.
Act as a positive role model and advocate for the young people in your care
What we need from you
Previous experience within a Children's Residential Care setting (preferred but not essential)
Experience supporting young people with LD
A strong understanding of safeguarding practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and resilient approach
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential)
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
