Staffline are recruiting a FLT Driver to work for their client - one of the UK's leading distributors of wine in Gloucester. The rate of pay is between £499 to £534 per week. This is a full time role, working 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are:

  • 6am to 6pm
  • 8am to 8pm

Applicants need to have worked on a forklift or something similar in the past.

Your Time at Work

  • Safely and accurately carry out all tasks in the DC that require the use of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) such as:
    • Goods in - unloading and put away
    • Carrying out stock moves to other locations within the DC
    • Picking goods from high level locations
    • Assisting with the despatch process including - preparing pallets of goods for despatch and loading goods onto despatch vehicles
    • Carry out basic administration relating to the above functions using the Warehouse Management Computer System (SAP) to input and/or check information - full training given
    • Operate all MHE in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Identify possible Health and Safety risks or hazards and report immediately. Report any accidents.
    • Be a multi skilled team member, able to use all machinery and equipment in the department
