Assembly Technician Location: Gloucester Job Type: Full Time Hours: Monday Thursday 39 hrs per week ( x4 day week ). Salary: 29 31K per annum

Swift Gloucester are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a growing engineering team based in Gloucester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building sub-assemblies, working to drawings as well as servicing and repairing.

Hydraulic and Pneumatics experience required for the role.

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for: Installing and fitting hydraulic attachments to hydraulic & pneumatic sub-assemblies Managing repairs and driving quality standards.

Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and mechanical faults.

Carrying out inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance.

Supporting customers with technical advice and equipment solutions.

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high engineering standard.

Maintaining a clean, organised workshop and working environment.

Skills & Experience Required You will ideally have: Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic sub-assemblies.

Understanding of hydraulic systems, valves, cylinders, and components.

Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.

Experience servicing and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Desirable Experience Any experience with the following would be advantageous: Hydraulic & pneumatics. Interpreting engineering drawings Mechanical fitting / assembly
