We are currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to join our client, working for a well-known site in Glastonbury!

Contract Information: Pay Rate: £16.20 per hour. Hours: Part-time Shift Pattern: Various

SIA Licence: SIA Licence (DS or SG) required.

Your Time at Work

As a Retail Security Officer your duties will include

  • Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
  • Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
  • Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
  • Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
  • Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
  • Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
  • Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
  • Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
  • Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
  • Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
