Team Leader - Glasgow

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Team Leader to work with a leading company in the food manufacturing and distribution sector in Glasgow.

This role is essential for coordinating logistics, managing driver workloads, and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Shift patterns: * 5 days per week with rolling rest days, starting between 10:00 and 11:00 AM.

Pay rates: * £14.60 hourly

Essential requirements for Team Leader: * Previous office or transport experience.

Desirable requirements for Team Leader: * Good attention to detail. * Self-disciplined and able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.

Role for Team Leader

  • Liaise with customer service and third parties via email and phone.
  • Oversee van and HGV routes to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
  • Manage driver workloads and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Monitor and control key performance indicators.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety practices.
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Support team members to achieve operational targets.
