Your new company
A leading infrastructure contractor is delivering major structural refurbishment and maintenance works on one of Scotland's most significant highways structures.
This long-term project offers the opportunity to work on complex civil engineering and bridge repair works within a highly experienced delivery team.
Your new role
As a Section Engineer, you will take responsibility for a designated section of works, overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of structural repairs, concrete refurbishment, strengthening works and temporary works packages.
You will manage site engineers and subcontractors, ensure quality standards are maintained, coordinate construction activities and work closely with the Site Agent and Project Management team to deliver works safely, on programme and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer on highways, bridge, structures or major infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete works, temporary works and quality assurance processes.
Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts in a live construction environment.
CSCS card and SMSTS preferred.
