Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Competitive, based on experience paid at or above the Skilled Worker going rate for SOC 3556

Who We Are

We are a growing group of three businesses rooted in the heart of Bridgeton, Glasgow and we are looking for two experienced Sales Accounts & Business Development Managers to help take us to the next level.

  • Sais Superstore: an independent grocery superstore serving a rapidly growing residential and business community.
  • Bridgeton Counters: a licensed Post Office providing postal, parcel and financial services to individuals and local businesses.
  • MASPS Property Group: a property investment and management company with a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Three businesses. Three sets of accounts to manage and grow. One great opportunity if you’ve got the drive, the people skills, and the sales track record to match.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of named business accounts across our three businesses B2B grocery buyers at the superstore, postal business accounts at the Post Office, and tenants and property contacts at the property group.
  • Prospecting for new business: approaching new B2B grocery clients, signing up new postal business accounts, finding new tenants for our properties, and identifying new property acquisition opportunities.
  • Supervising the sales team day-to-day allocating accounts and leads, setting targets, and making sure performance stays on track.
  • Negotiating prices, account terms and service agreements with business clients across all three businesses.
  • Reviewing accounts regularly, spotting upselling opportunities, and making sure clients stay happy and loyal.
  • Reporting to management on pipeline activity, accounts won, revenue performance and forecasts.
  • Attending client meetings, property viewings, trade events and networking opportunities to open new doors.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years experience managing a portfolio of business accounts and driving new business development sector doesn’t matter, attitude does.
  • A proven track record of winning new business accounts, hitting sales targets and growing a client base.
  • Experience supervising a sales team, however small.
  • A confident communicator and negotiator who can build real relationships with clients and close deals.
  • Someone comfortable moving between different types of accounts and business contexts in a single working week.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing or similar is preferred but relevant experience counts for more.
