We’re looking for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our team and support the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of intercompany balances. Reporting to the Assistant Accounting Manager, you’ll work closely with colleagues across multiple teams to ensure accurate postings, timely settlements, and high-quality reporting. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment, with the chance to work towards completing your professional accountancy qualification. This role will also include a study support package.

How you'll make an impact

  • Prepare and analyse intercompany movements and balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review intercompany activity to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
  • Ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances in line with agreed processes.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, including FCA returns.
  • Contribute to board and management reporting with analysis and commentary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and Global Cash Management to resolve queries.
  • Maintain high standards when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Support process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.

About You

  • You’re a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • You’ve got experience working in a finance or accounting environment.
  • You’re organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • You’re confident using Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
  • You have a good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with intercompany accounting or US GAAP is a plus but not essential.
  • You’re proactive, eager to learn, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • You’re great at building relationships and communicating effectively.
  • You’re eligible to work in the UK.
