Job Description
As a Fire Resistance Administrator at United Kingdom Testing & Certification (UKTC), you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fire Resistance Department, ensuring the efficient support of clients and projects. You will play a key role in supporting Technical Officers and Technical Surveyors by managing documentation, liaising with clients, coordinating visits and assisting in maintaining accurate project records, helping the department deliver market-leading customer service and report turnaround times.

The Role: Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare draft fire resistance test reports from approved company templates for Technical Officer review.
- Issue signed final fire resistance test reports to clients, ensuring all associated documentation has been completed and correctly archived.
- Coordinate client visits by booking meeting rooms, arranging visitor access and ordering refreshments and lunches where required.
- Support Technical Officers and Technical Surveyors with general project administration, including preparation of project documentation and scheduling support.
- Maintain accurate project data within company management systems, including HubSpot and other departmental software.
- Coordinate internal communications between the Fire Resistance Team and other departments to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Assist with general departmental administration including filing, archiving and database maintenance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing departmental efficiency and customer experience.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Qualifications Essential Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately prepare technical documentation.
- Ability to prepare and format controlled technical documentation to a consistently high standard.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Good IT skills with the ability to learn and use business management software.
- Awareness of Health & Safety requirements within an office and laboratory environment.
