The Opportunity
Following a strong year of growth and continued expansion, our client is looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their specialist swimming pool and water treatment team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing service function within a business operating across the leisure, hospitality, and domestic sectors.
Working closely with the Service Management team, you'll play a key role delivering high-quality on-site support, ensuring clients' facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of a range of equipment across multiple environments, including:
- Local Authority facilities
- Hotels and leisure centres
- Domestic properties
You'll be working on:
- Swimming pool and spa water treatment systems
- Thermal wellness equipment (saunas, steam rooms, experience rooms)
- Associated plant and technical systems
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission swimming pool, spa, and wellness plant equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance
- Deliver a high level of customer service on-site
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
About You
We're looking for a proactive and hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a field-based environment. Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in a similar field service role (water treatment, leisure, or related industry preferred)
- Electrical qualifications (18th Edition desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good IT literacy for reporting and communication
- A full UK driving licence
