The Opportunity Global Highland are recruiting for front of house staff for our client in Aviemore for their busy cafe.

This is an immediate start role and is to cover full time over the school holidays, cafe experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Take food and drink orders accurately using the till or point-of-sale (POS) system.

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.

Serve food promptly and ensure presentation standards are maintained.

Handle cash and card payments accurately.

Maintain cleanliness of customer seating areas, counters, and service stations.

Restock food, drinks, and supplies throughout the day.

Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cashing up.

Respond to customer enquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.

Work collaboratively with kitchen and café team members to ensure efficient service.

Requirements Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.

Previous café, hospitality, or retail experience is desirable but not essential.

Reliable and punctual.

Well-presented and professional.
