Make a difference across the school day. Join Connex Education. Connex Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our growing supply team as PPA Cover Teachers, supporting primary schools in and around Frome from September.
We are proud to be the preferred supply partner for Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT), supporting their primary schools with high-quality teaching staff. As demand continues to grow, we are looking for adaptable teachers who enjoy working across different year groups and delivering engaging lessons while class teachers receive their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.
We are keen to hear from both ECTs and experienced teachers. Whether you're looking for regular work, a role that offers variety, or an opportunity to gain experience across different schools, we'd love to hear from you.
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Adapt confidently to different classes and school settings
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
We have opportunities to suit:
- Full-time availability
- Part-time working
- Regular PPA cover
- Short and long-term assignments
Whilst this is temporary supply work, it offers an excellent opportunity to work consistently within local schools while maintaining flexibility. Many of our partner schools go on to offer permanent opportunities to teachers who have made a positive impression through supply, making this a great way to build relationships and explore future career opportunities.
