About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to a gentleman with Autism in his own home and within the local community. You will help promote independence, encourage meaningful engagement, and ensure he feels safe, respected, and supported.
- Provide tailored support based on individual needs, preferences, and routines
- Support the gentleman to access the community and take part in activities he enjoys
- Promote independence, confidence, and personal wellbeing
- Build a positive and trusting relationship through consistent support
- Encourage meaningful engagement while respecting dignity and choice
- Work alongside colleagues to provide excellent standards of care
About You
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
- Essential experience supporting people with Autism
- Previous experience with trauma-informed care is highly desirable
- Calm, patient, and understanding approach
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for care
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- Full UK Driving Licence is required and applicants must reside within the Essex area
