They're looking for a Electronics Engineerto join their Aberdeen-based Electronics R&D team, someone who gets under the skin of a failure, understands exactly why it happened, and puts in place the engineering rigour to make sure it never happens again.

What You'll Be Doing: Investigating product and component failures and turning findings into actionable improvements

Qualifying electronic components for use in high-reliability, high-temperature applications

Identifying obsolescence and supply chain risks before they become operational headaches

Supporting PCB manufacturing improvements through hands-on testing of electronics and materials

Collaborating across engineering, production and quality to solve real-world reliability challenges

Building and maintaining the technical documentation that keeps risk visible and managed

What You'll Bring: A degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline

A background in electronic design or test

Sharp analytical thinking and a genuine appetite for problem-solving

Clear communication skills as you'll be writing technical reports and influencing across teams

Experience with failure analysis, accelerated life testing, or high-temperature electronics

Knowledge of component packaging, PCB manufacturing or database tools

The occasional flexibility to travel
