Our Treatment Solutions business platform is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the division on a permanent basis. As part of our Quality / Procurement team, you will play a key role in developing professional working relationships with suppliers and be the key point of contact on quality matters including specification requirements and verification of compliance.

Please note this role will include UK and international travel as required, to support supplier relationships and conduct audits.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Plan and conduct supplier and performance audits to ensure compliance, drive process standardisation, and support waste reduction initiatives.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to monitor supplier quality performance, producing regular reports, and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Manage and resolve non-conformance issues relating to supplied materials, ensuring timely closure of supplier corrective actions.
  • Analyse supplier performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Improve supplier quality performance for assigned suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Management teams to implement improvements that minimise the Costs of Quality.
  • Ensure Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans are effectively developed, implemented, and closed out with assigned suppliers.
  • Lead supplier onboarding and qualification processes, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the focal point for client and third-party compliance and certification audits.

What Do You Need?

  • ISO9001 Lead Auditor qualified with experience of practical auditing.
  • Trained in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge and application of CAPA processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
