Job Role of the Production Shift Manager:

Production Shift Manager wanted for a hands-on leadership role within a busy manufacturing environment. The role will involve managing production operations across the shift, ensuring targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a production team, managing performance, dealing with issues on shift and ensuring production plans are delivered. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Production Manager, Production Supervisor or Shift Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Production Shift Manager:

  • Previous experience working as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or Shift Manager
  • Manufacturing experience is essential
  • Experience managing and leading production teams
  • Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
  • Full rights to work in the UK

Requirements for the Production Shift Manager:

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Experience managing production targets and KPIs
  • Ability to manage performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards
