The Role
In this position, you will be the face of the company, ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' systems. You won't just be "checking boxes"; you will be responsible for:
Servicing & Maintenance: Routine upkeep of various open protocol fire alarm systems.
Fault Finding: Diagnosing complex issues and providing efficient, long-term solutions.
Small Works: Carrying out minor installations and remedial works as identified during servicing.
System Auditing: Confidently identifying system age, condition, and any non-compliances to ensure sites meet British Standards.

To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of Open Protocol systems , including:
What Youll Need - Fire Alarm Service Engineer | Portsmouth & Surrounding Areas
Experience: Previous fire alarm servicing and installation experience.
Licence: A full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
Mindset: The ability to work independently, manage your own local patch, and communicate effectively with site managers and residents.
Added Value: Experience with AOV systems, Emergency Lighting (EML), Fire Extinguishers, or Refuge Systems is a significant advantage.
