The Role
Are you someone with team leading experience? We're recruiting a Process Operator to join a busy and well-established powder coatings manufacturer based in Farnham. This hands-on role involves supporting the full production process including mixing, extrusion, milling, and blending, along with general material handling duties across the site. This could potentially lead into a team leader position for the right candidate.
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential, as in-house training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production and processing equipment in line with SOPs and batch instructions
- Weigh, measure, and prepare raw materials accurately
- Support the mixing, extrusion, milling, and blending operations
- Move materials and finished goods safely between work areas
- Take responsibility for maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with colleagues in production, quality, and warehouse teams
About You
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Counterbalance FLT licence desirable (or willingness to complete in-house training)
- Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness
