Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our on-site engineering team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive engineer with strong multi-trade experience, particularly in compliance-led PPM works, to deliver high-quality maintenance services within a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory compliance tasks, and reactive repairs across multiple disciplines
  • Complete works in line with contract SLAs and Atlas engineering standards
  • Undertake minor works and fault-finding activities efficiently and safely
  • Ensure all activities are accurately recorded via the Maximo CAFM system
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication at all times
  • Support quoting of minor works, including labour and materials estimates
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, schedulers, and account support teams
  • Participate in the call-out rota and respond to out-of-hours requirements when required

About You

  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within FM or building services
  • Strong background in PPM delivery and compliance maintenance
  • Able to work across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, or general building fabric)
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Competent using CAFM systems and mobile devices for job management
  • Committed to delivering safe, high-quality work and exceptional service standards

Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required

  • GCSE in English and Maths or Equivalent
  • Legionella (L8) trained and competent (Desirable)
  • Accredited Health & Safety qualification i.e. IOSH Working Safely or equivalent (Desirable)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role

  • 2 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi discipline service delivery.
  • 1 years experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Background in property maintenance.
  • Good understanding of modern office software.
  • Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.
  • Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades and ability to turn hand to most activities within a building maintenance environment.
  • Experience conducting minor drainage works. (Desirable)
  • Experience in delivering L8 compliance maintenance. (Desirable)
