We're recruiting a Sales Executive to join a growing domestic sales team within an established environmental services organisation.
This is a varied telephone-based role where you'll manage leads, reconnect with previous customers, develop existing accounts and identify opportunities to promote additional services.

What You'll
Doing
- Contacting prospective, existing and previous customers to generate new business
- Managing inbound enquiries and following up company-generated and self-generated leads
- Reconnecting with lapsed customers and identifying opportunities to win back their business
- Cross-selling and upselling relevant products and services
- Understanding why customers may wish to cancel and working to retain their business
- Preparing quotes and managing opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Recording calls, emails, quotes, complaints and other customer activity accurately on the CRM
- Working towards daily, monthly and annual call, quote and sales targets
- Providing a professional and responsive customer service experience
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
What We Need From You
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling customer enquiries by telephone and email
- A proactive, results-driven approach with the confidence to identify sales opportunities
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
- An understanding of consultative selling and customer retention
- Previous sales or telesales experience would be beneficial but is not essential
