Quality Inspector (Aerospace) First 12 weeks £36,017 After 12 weeks £37,109.97 Location: Titchfield

Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for x2 experienced Quality Inspectors to join a leading aerospace manufacturing and maintenance organisation.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong inspection background within a regulated aerospace environment who is looking to join a high-performing team supporting world-class aerospace products and services.

Essential Functions To carry out the inspection and measurement of Components/Assemblies including features and co-ordinates to ensure conformance to drawing and internal/external contractual requirements.

In the performance of the role, the successful applicant will: Maintain a safe working environment.

Drive and sustain continuous improvement within the cell.

Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times.

Provide inspection cover across site where demand dictates, upon request of inspection supervision, working within the parameters laid down in procedures and work instructions relevant to that area and within their competency.

Carry out the inspection and measurement of various types of Components and Assemblies to ensure conformance to drawing and purchase order requirements, working within the parameters laid down in procedures and work instructions.

Support all departments, assisting with quality-related investigations upon request.

Conduct First Article Reports and monitor the production of Statistical Process Control (SPC) data (advantageous).

Perform and assist in investigations into non-conformance through the use of measuring equipment where required.

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and/or specialised inspection equipment (advantageous).

Read and interpret drawings, component maintenance manuals and standards.

Work as part of a team to support Operations in meeting customer on-time delivery requirements.

Be available to work additional hours as required to meet production demands.

Ensure all non-conforming work is segregated, clearly identified, and reported to MRB through the NCR process.

Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrate strong teamwork skills whilst also being capable of working independently.

Qualifications & Experience Essential Aerospace industry experience required.

Apprenticeship or 3 years' experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of ISO9001/EN9100 (AS9100D).

CAA Part 21 regulatory knowledge.

Advantageous EASA Part 145 regulatory knowledge.

Knowledge of C-rated components and experience in a component maintenance environment.

Technical aerospace knowledge.

MRP/ERP system experience at inspector level.

Ability to conduct First Article Inspection Reports.

Ability to monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) data.

Ability to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and specialised inspection equipment.

Good computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications and custom databases.
