The firm provides holistic financial planning, with a strong focus on investment advice for an established client bank and an ongoing source of new clients from the legal practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Financial Adviser, supporting clients through the ongoing review process while developing your own career within financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters.
  • Conduct product, fund and provider research.
  • Support the Financial Adviser with annual and ongoing client reviews.
  • Liaise directly with clients regarding documentation and review meetings.
  • Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office (IO).
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA and company compliance standards.
  • Assist with investment research and portfolio reviews.
  • Work closely with the administration team to deliver an excellent client experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm.
  • Strong knowledge of investments products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • A proactive and reliable approach with the confidence to work independently.
  • Someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using Intelligent Office (IO).
  • Experience supporting an Adviser with client review meetings.
  • An interest in progressing into a Financial Adviser role in the future.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and suitability report writing.
