We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Accounts Receivable team. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team within a fast-paced car rental business. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our finance function.
As a Finance Assistant, you will work with high volumes of financial data across multiple systems, helping to ensure that transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and processed in a timely manner. We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a finance team and dealing with high volumes of transactional data. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be proactive, organised, and comfortable working collaboratively across departments to resolve queries and support the wider finance function.

- Reconciling and matching customer receipts against accounts
- Processing and reconciling card transactions
- Handling customer refunds in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining and updating vehicle-related documentation and records
- Performing general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and document management
- Providing day-to-day support to the wider finance team
- Collaborating with departments and branches across the business to resolve queries and ensure smooth processes
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
