The purpose of this role is to beresponsible for the repair and maintenance of all the electrical equipment at the Plant, providing support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills.The Electrical Technician will assist in the co-ordination of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Responsible for carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant
Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the plant.
Work alongside other functions as necessary, assisting with supervision of contractors.
Carry out fault investigation, diagnosis and rectification as required.
Be pro-active and creative in problem solving and initiative.
Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections.
Requirements Experience of electrical maintenance/installation/engineering within either process industries, power plants or other heavy engineering environments essential
Experience of working withComputerised Maintenance Management systems
Possess appropriate relevant trade technical qualifications such as either City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC/ONC/HNC (or equivalents) essential
Hours/Benefits Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
1 in 4 call out - Paid additionally
Salary crica Β£51,000 per year
