The HGV Class 1 Fresh Produce Role As an HGV Class 1 Fresh Produce Distribution Driver , you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of fresh produce and food products.
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
Fresh produce and food distribution.
Driving HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles.
Deliveries and collections from farms, packhouses, distribution centres and depots.
RDC and NDC deliveries.
Refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport where required.
Completing daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
Correctly coupling and uncoupling trailers.
Checking the fifth wheel is correctly locked before departure.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
Reporting vehicle and trailer defects.
Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely.
Following Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time regulations.
Maintaining high professional standards when representing Millison Chase and our clients.
