MC Technical Recruitment is looking to recruit a Field Service Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician to join an expanding UK service team. This role will involve covering sites across the Evesham region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across customer site
- Performing mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
- Conducting engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
- Maintaining service records and completing detailed job reports
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
- Participating in a call-out rota
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators, or heavy engineering equipment
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)
- A flexible approach to travel and working on customer sites
- Full UK driving licence
