In this role, the successful Estimator or similar will be responsible for the oversight of projects from initial conception through to handover, covering all commercial and estimating aspects. In addition, you will also be responsible for reviewing and producing both tender documentation and quotes in line with design criteria, ensuring solutions meet client requirements, alongside attending site to survey both existing and proposed installations. On top of this, you will be responsible for both bid submissions and negotiations, as well as creating a presentation document including not only designs and specifications, but also equipment schedules, materials, labour hours, and summary of costs alike. Finally, you will be responsible for customer, client, supplier, subcontractor and interdepartmental liaison alike, to ensure a smooth acquisition process and eventual handover to the project team.

The ideal Estimator or similar will have a background within the HVAC/Building Services/MEP/Facilities Management industry or a related field, with prior experience in an Estimator position or a similar role. In addition, you will also have a strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems. On top of this, you will be responsible for attending client sites to survey existing and proposed installations, with the ability to address client queries, tenders, quotations and bids alike. Finally, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both as part of a team and autonomously, as well as a full, valid UK driver's license.

  • Have a background within the Building Services/MEP/Facilities Management/Construction or a related field
  • Previous working experience in a Pre-Construction Manager position or a similar role
