Location: Epping, Essex We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers to join a well-established and growing logistics operation based in Epping.

This is a temp to perm night shift position offering consistent work, modern vehicles, and excellent earning potential.

This role involves nightly trunking to a distribution hub in Birmingham with no multi-drop deliveries, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy straightforward, scheduled work.

Carry out daily walk-round vehicle safety inspections and report any defects.

Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records where required.

Comply with all Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and tachograph legislation.

Secure loads correctly and ensure vehicles are operated safely at all times.

Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Keep vehicles clean and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Follow company health and safety procedures and road transport legislation.

Candidate Requirements Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Valid Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of Driver Hours Regulations and tachograph rules Excellent knowledge of UK road safety legislation Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering a high standard of work Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Desirable Previous Class 1 trunking or RDC experience Experience with curtain-side trailers Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks We're Looking For The ideal candidate will be a dependable and safety-conscious professional who takes pride in their work.
