Bennett & Game are pleased to be representing a well-established demolition contractor with over 30 years of industry experience, who are seeking a Demolition Site Supervisor to join their growing team. Operating primarily across London, the company delivers a range of soft-strip and full demolition projects valued from approximately £200,000 up to £3 million. They operate their own demolition plant, crushers, screeners, robotic equipment and fleet of HGVs, giving them full control over project delivery, waste management and recycling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of demolition projects across London, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements. The company would ideally consider someone on a temp-to-perm basis.

Demolition Site Supervisor Job Overview

  • Oversee the daily running of demolition and soft-strip projects across London
  • Supervise demolition operatives, plant operators and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with RAMS and demolition plans
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
  • Monitor demolition sequencing, exclusion zones and site safety procedures
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials and waste movements
  • Work closely with the Site Administrator, Project Manager and Contracts Manager
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and health and safety documentation
  • Monitor programme progress and report any delays or operational issues
  • Ensure company plant and equipment is used safely and efficiently
  • Support the delivery of projects ranging from internal strip-out works through to full structural demolition and crushing
  • Ensure environmental, recycling and waste-management procedures are followed

Demolition Site Supervisor Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Demolition Supervisor, Demolition Foreman or similar
  • Strong practical experience within the demolition sector
  • Experience supervising soft-strip and full demolition projects
  • Good understanding of demolition sequencing, RAMS and exclusion zones
  • Experience managing demolition operatives, plant operators and subcontractors
  • Relevant CCDO Supervisor qualification or demolition supervisory certification
  • SSSTS or SMSTS would be advantageous
  • First Aid and Asbestos Awareness would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable travelling between sites across London
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
