We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated leader with proven departmental management experience to join us as Service Manager & Site Lead.
This dual-focused role sits at the operational heart of our Littleport branch. As Service Manager, you will drive aftersales performance, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As Site Lead, you will oversee site operations, facilities, and Health & Safety compliance to ensure a safe, professional working environment.
Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus scheme, OTE £69,000.00 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm

Key Responsibilities
1. Service Management & Operations
Lead, direct, and develop a team of Agricultural Service Technicians and service administrators, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Manage departmental performance against budget objectives. Maximise workshop utilisation, efficiency, recovery rates and ultimately labour gross margin.
Actively monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) to prevent aged jobs, control cost recovery, and ensure 100% of completed jobs are accurately invoiced within the month.
Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction (NPS) through proactive communication and clear job updates, while developing new customer relationships.
Take strict ownership of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures, ensuring accurate processing.
2. Site Lead & Facilities Management
Act as the primary site contact for Health & Safety, leading H&S briefings, conducting regular site inspections, and maintaining statutory documentation, risk assessments, and incident logs.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and presentation across the workshop, yard, customer areas, and facilities.
Oversee mandatory maintenance contracts (e.g. fire safety, security/CCTV, PAT testing, and hazardous waste disposal) to ensure complete audit readiness.
Serve as the on-site point of contact for approved facilities contractors, managing permits and ensuring work meets standards.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Proven track record in service departmental management and team leadership.
Strong background in driving efficiency, labour margin protection, and operational procedures. (Previous agricultural industry experience is desirable but not essential, as product/systems training will be provided).
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to lead by example, enforce discipline, and build strong relationships with customers, staff, and cross-departmental teams.
A full driving licence
