Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a successful food production business based in East Lothian.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator looking to join a fast-paced and supportive production environment with opportunities for development and progression.
The Role
You will play a key role in operating machinery used throughout the production process, helping to maintain high standards of quality, efficiency and safety while supporting the wider production team.
Key Duties
Operate and set up production machinery
Monitor equipment performance and production output
Complete routine machinery checks and report any faults
Carry out quality inspections on products
Ensure compliance with traceability procedures
Support efficient production workflows and targets
Maintain excellent health, safety and hygiene standards
Keep production areas clean and organised
About You
Experience working as a Machine Operator, Production Operator or within a similar manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, motivated and safety conscious
Access to transport due to the site's location
Benefits
Salary between £29,120 and £30,160 depending on experience
